Race 4 – Tampa

#1 Hoosier Boy (4-1): Trainer Gerald Bennett is 32% with maiden claimers making their career debuts. The broodmare sire (Cactus Ridge) is 15% with firsters and jockey Ademar Santos is 13% with Bennett in their last 16 starts .


Race 6 – Tampa

#9 Quiet Virtue (7-2):  Trainer Arnaud Delacour and jockey Daniel Centeno are 69% in their last 13 starters. This daughter of Quiet American finished fifth in her career debut and figures to improve second time out, where Delacour is 24%.


Race 4 – CD

#7 Day of Fury (5-1): Trainer Bob Baffert shipped this gelding back from Santa Anita with his Derby horses looking for a winning spot. The son of Street Sense drops into a claimer for the first time, a move Baffert is 38% with and regular Baffert barn rider Martin Garcia is named to ride .

Race 4: #6 Quiet Virtue (turf only) (5-1)

This is the longer price of two horses trainer Arnaud Delacour has in the race. This is a first-time starter out of Quiet American and out of the dam sire Theatrical, which is 16% with first-time turf. Delacour is 21% with first-timers overall.


Race 5: #3 Horn Buckle (3-1)

Trainer Jason DaCosta is 47% when going from sprint-route-sprint and that’s what this gelding is doing here. The 6-year-old has two wins from four tries on the Tampa main track and jockey Fernando De la Cruz stays aboard.
