Note: The Florent Geroux experiment is over for this year at the season oval. The veteran jockey came West this summer for the first time and was a little underwhelming — or maybe unlucky. He finishes with 7 wins from 92 mounts, but he had 16 seconds and 12 thirds for purse earnings of more than $749,000. On turf, where he should excel, he had just 2 wins from 52 starts. In all stakes races, he was 0 for 10. Geroux rode at Saratoga on Saturday and will ride in Kentucky beginning this week.
