Preview: I will tell you this was a tough card to handicap due to the weather forecast. It was well known last weekend that it was going to rain on Thursday (up to an inch along the coast), but Del Mar stuck to its original plan with four of the eight races on the grass. I will be surprised if that happens. I definitely think the two turf sprints at 5 furlongs won’t be on the grass and the other two, we’ll see. I encourage you to check back Thursday morning after 10:30 a.m. after the Del Mar changes are announced. I hope I’m wrong, but don’t think so.

I really like this filly, rain or shine. She won in her only turf try at Santa Anita and she has a second over an off track, also in Arcadia. She drops out of the Betty Grable and I think she will stay in the race no matter what.
