In my opinion, trainer Anna Meah got the short end of the stick when her filly was disqualified from a victory in Friday’s feature race. It looked like Escape Clause, who got put up, could have gone to the rail for room, but jockey Ruben Fuentes stood up and got the call. So I think Meah come back to get her first training win in this spot with STRINGENT. This gelding is first off the claim and won over this track in September. She is dropping the 6-year-old in class and looks like a standout in this spot. For those that don’t know Meah worked for Sherman Racing and also trainer Richard Baltas before going out on her ow.
