Trainer Brian Lynch doesn’t have a string on the West Coast but that’s where owners Jim and Susan Hill live In Calgary and obviously they wanted the 2-year-old Totally Boss to begin his career at Del Mar. The $180,000 yearling purchase is by the sire Street Boss, who gets 17 percent winners first-time out and on the other side he’s out of an Elusive Quality (15 percent) mare. Lynch wins 15 percent first time out and there are a couple of good works showing.
