Our Eyes: This gelding has a class edge and the top Brisnet Late Pace Rating and comes out of key race that has produced four winners.

Race 3 – SA
#9 Hoppitty (4-1) ****
Our Eyes: First time starter for trainer Kristin Mulhall. Good works, good gate jockey in Martin Pedroza (27% with Mulhall at Santa Anita) and sire Grasshopper gets 10% first out winners.

Race 4 – SA
#7 Mercer Island (8-1) TURF ONLY ***
Our Eyes: From Peter Miller barn. Gets huge jock change to Norberto Arroyo Jr. and Miller puts blinkers on. This gelding broke his maiden at the mile at Woodbine on the grass.

Race 7 – SA
#1 McHeat (15-1) TURF ONLY ***
Our Eyes: Comes out of a key race that has produced three winners from the first three back. The gelding cuts back in distance and jockey Jamie Theriot is 3-for-6 with trainer Ryan Hanson

Race 9 – SA
#11 Spy Ring (5-1) TURF ONLY ****
Our Eyes: First-time running in the U.S. but has been training forwardly for trainer Jim Cassidy and D P Racing.
