Preview: It’s the start of another race week so that means rain is on the way and it is … on Sunday so bet your turf races today and tomorrow.

Race 1 – SA
#4 Formulate (15-1) TURF ONLY ****
Our Eyes: Coming out of one of the top key races last fall at Del Mar with four next out winners. Blinkers go on and Norberto Arroyo Jr. is underrated on the turf.

Race 4 – SA
#2 Summertimemischief (3-1) ****
Our Eyes: Trainer Kathy Walsh doesn’t start many these days but she can still train. She puts blinkers on this filly and drops her in class, where Walsh is 43% when she drops a horse two or more levels.
Jeff’s Playbook: 4 units to win, 5 units to place and 6 units to show.

Race 5 – SA
#9 Radiantly (7-2) TURF ONLY ****
Our Eyes: Trainer Graham Motion is 0-for-12 at the meet but that may be due to the lack of turf racing. he runs this filly first time in the States and he’s 26% when he does that. The 4-year-old is coming out of a key race in Ireland, where three horses won next time out.
Jeff’s Playbook: 4 units to win, 5 units to place and 6 units to show.

Race 8 – SA
#3 Moonless Sky (4-1) TURF ONLY ****
Our Eyes: We had a Florida shipper win recently down the hill and now trainer Eddie Truman finds one in this filly. Horses are 27% first time with Truman and jockey Kent Desormeaux jumps on.
Jeff’s Playbook: 4 units to win, 5 units to place and 6 units to show. EXBX 3-2-5.
