Tampa Bay Downs opinions for Wednesday, Feb. 15

Race 2 – Tam
#4 Little Paul (6-1) ****
Our Eyes: This gelding certainly seems to like going around two turns (5-1-2-1) than one turn. Trainer Victor Carrasco Jr. is 50% with putting blinkers back on and jockey Edwin Gonzalez rides and he’s having a good meet.
Jeff’s Playbook: 4 units to win, 5 units to place and 8 units to show. EXBX 4-1-6.

Race 4 – Tam
#8 Sister Pat (9-2) ****
Our Eyes: This filly just won going 7 furlongs and tries two turns. She has early speed which jockey Dean Butler will have to use from the outside post. A slight bump in class, but can get the job done.
Jeff’s Playbook: 4 units to win, 5 units to place and 8 units to show. EXBX 8-3-4.

Race 10 – Tam
#8 Sophistication (12-1) ****
Our Eyes: You odn’t often see leading jockey Daniel Centeno and leading trainer Gerald Bennett at this morning-line so we have to take a shot. This gelding has some early lick and takes a class drop. Centeno is 41% at the meet with Bennett.
Jeff’s Playbook: 4 units to win, 5 units to place and 6 units to show.
