Horse racing, Tampa Bay Downs

Tampa Bay Downs opinions for Saturday, Jan. 28

Race 4: #5 West Shore Drive (5-2): This gelding has been close twice at this meet and last time ran in a race that might become a key event. Leading jockey Daniel Centeno takes over and should be able to put him over the top.

Race 5: #9 Lighthouse Sound (2-1) (turf only): This 10-year-old won against better company early in the meet and sports an 8-4-1-1 record over this turf course. Centeno keeps the mount and this one will be closing down the lane.

Race 7: #1 Broncojoevinny (10-1): This 6-year-old sports a 10-4-4-0 record on this main track. Trainer Miguel Felciano is 50% (4 for 8) first off the claim. This one is moving up off a win and has speed from the rail.

Race 8: #5 Blue Humor (5-1) (turf only): Ships up from Gulfstream Park where he finished eighth against tougher. Takes the drop in class and would seem to fit with these nicely.

Good luck.
