Preview: To be honest I’m not sure the races will be held Sunday at Del Mar as rain and high winds are expected. If the winds are low enough, the jockeys will ride, but if they are too high they won’t. As for the turf, I expect the featured sixth race to be run on the turf if at all possible. I think the ninth race will be taken off, no matter what.
Race 1: 1. Djibouti, 2. Yavrig, 3. To B. Ava. LONG SHOT: Golden Mamba.
Race 2: 1. #6 Sleepwalker (7-2), 2. Alley Boss, 3. Magic Taste. LONG SHOT: Tribal Roar.
Trainer Robertino Diodoro is 24% second off the claim like with this gelding. Jockey Joe Talamo jumps on and he is 20% with Diodoro.

Race 4: 1. #1 Seau (5-2), 2. Royal Mo, 3. South Americain. LONG SHOT: Budokan.
A horse named for one of San Diego’s favorite sons running on an NFL Sunday. Hunch bet? This 2-year-old should enjoy going two turns for the first time and trainer Jerry Hollendorfer is 19% when a horse is first time route race.
Race 5: 1. Nuke Laloosh, 2. Trump Diesel, 3. Uncle Chato. LONG SHOT: True Ranger.
Race 6: Sword Fighter, 2. Offshore, 3. Hootie. LONG SHOT: Conscripted.
Race 7: 1. #8 Wonderful Lie (7-2), 2. Lemhill Basr, 3. Fantasy of Luck. LONG SHOT: Plesant as Pie.
Jockey Flavien Prat rode three of these horses last time and sticks with this mare first off the claim for Jerry Hollendorfer who is 30% first off the claim. She has speed and is moving up in class.
