Preview: Just three days left in this horrible 3-week stretch with no turf racing. Should have been at Los Alamitos. Rafael Bejarano has the lead in the jockey’s race and doesn’t figure to lose it.

Race 4 – SA
#4 Space Cadet (6-1): Tough to pass up the combination of trainer Richard Baltas and jockey Rafael Bejarano as they are a 33% proposition at Santa Anita. Baltas is also adding blinkers to this filly and he’s 5-for-15 with this move of first-time blinkers.

Race 8 – SA
#6 Mum’s Forest (7-2): It looks like the strategy is clear with this 4-year-old. Trainer Charles Treece, who is 22% second off the layoff, is going to have 10-pound apprentice E. Orozco go straight to the front out of the gate.
