Santa Anita opinions for Thursday, May 12

Preview: New week, decent card. How would you like to have a 2-year-old ready to go in today’s first race and find that trainer Doug O’Neill will unveil an $800,000 juvenile filly named Tap It All who he hopes will follow a similar path to Songbird? She looks like a single at 6-5 but stranger things have happened.

Race 3 – SA
#3 Ya Antabttsy (12-1): This colt had a miserable debut, but trainer Richard Baltas is making changes in start No. 2 like putting blinkers on (26%) and going from MSW to maiden claiming (56%). Baltas wanted to get him on the grass first time out, but it was washed off.

Race 8 – SA
#8 Incline Village (8-1): This gelding has won three times on the downhill course and he has plenty speed and the outside post should help. Trainer Brian Koriner is 22% with horses off a 46-90-day layoff.
