Race 4: #5 Mitzi Winks (5-1): This filly hasn’t run since closing weekend of the Del Mar summer meet in the Grade I Debutante, which has produced five next out winners. This 3-year-old won her career debut so we know she can win fresh for trainer Doug O’Neill and jockey Mario Gutierrez.

Race 6: #7 Deputy Dane (9-5): No trainer has been hotter in SoCal than Phil D’Amato, who is 28% with horses third off the layoff. This gelding has the top Early Pace Rating by Brisnet.
