Race 1: #9 Remesses (8-1): We all know trainer Bob Baffert can train first-timers, but not so much on the turf. However, this son of Pioneerof the Nile might be different as there are a string of nice works and the sire gets 17% first-time grass winners. It’s worth the price.

Race 7: #8 Outside Nashville (6-1): This gelding comes out of the tough San Carlos on the dirt. He returns to this race a year later with the top Brisnet Class Rating and trainer Jerry Hollendorfer is 21% third time off the layoff.
