Horse racing, Santa Anita

Santa Anita opinions for Sunday, March 13

Preview: There’s no telling how the turf course will play after Friday’s rains. There is likely to be some give in it. The main track should be just fine. Sorry today is late.

Race 5 – SA

#5 Jenna’s Faith (6-1)

Trainer Herbert Bacorn has a small barn but he knows where to place his horses. This filly has won two of three on this track and Bacorn is 27% second off the layoff. Jockey Drayden Van Dyke has won on this filly before.

Race 9 – SA

#7 Navy Hymn (7-2)

Trainer Doug O’Neill is 34% when dropping a horse two or more class levels and this gelding is at an all-time low. O’Neill goes to leading rider Rafael Bejarano and they are 21% together.
