Preview: The final card of a thoroughly disappointing Los Alamitos thoroughbred meet. Rumors are rampant that Los Alamitos doesn’t want these dates again next December and who can blame after the horsemen failed to support the meet this year.
Race 2: #3 Condiment (8-1)
Trainer Quentin Miller is 50% (4-for-8) with horses moving down two or more class levels. This gelding has been running at Golden Gate but has an admirable record of 12-3-3-1 on dirt.
Race 9: #9 Mad Mango (7-2)
Trainer Doug O’Neill claimed this 3-year-old filly for $20,000 out of her debut when she finished second as the 8-5 favorite. Jockey Mario Gutierrez jumps on and he is 31% with O’Neill the last two years over this course.
