Race 5: #5 Desert Thief (7-2)
This filly has done her best running at Santa Anita with a 9-2-2-3 record so that no doubt was a reason trainer Bill Spawr claimed her. Spawr is 32% first off the claim and the filly has some real good works coming into the race.

Race 7: #6 Zackos My Man (12-1)
Trainer Sam Scolamieri doesn’t start many but when he does his horses are live. This 4-year-old has won over the track before and Scolamieri is 3-for-9 off a 31-60-day layoff. Tiago Pereira is this barn’s main rider and he’s 27% with the trainer.

Gulfstream Park West
Race 4: #4 Hatattack (turf only) (12-1)
This 2-year-old colt was claimed out of his debut by trainer Jena Antonucci, no doubt with turf in mind. The sire Hat Trick is 19% with first-time turfers. Jockey Edgrd Zayas keeps the mount, which is a good sign.

Race 9: #3 Will Be Magical (9-2)
Trainer Bill Kaplan turns this filly back from a route race. He is 18% with a big ROI when going sprint-route-sprint. This daughter of Wilburn doesn’t have a lot of early speed but she had a good work recently and maybe ready to roll.
