Santa Anita opinions for Friday, April 17

Race 3: #4 The Mad Hungarian (NL)

Trainer Peter Miller is just daring someone to claim this gelding as the horse won last time out and now drops a level, where he was claimed. Jockey Tyler Baze, who is 7 for his last 20, keeps the mount and Miller is 50% (3-for-6) with a drop off a win .

Race 6: #11 Minster’sadventure (NL)

Trainer Jerry Hollendorfer is 31% with debuting maiden claimers and he puts leading rider Rafael Bejarano aboard. On top of that, the sire Ministers Wild Cat is 13% with first-time starters. Seems like a wide open race.
