FIRST RACE: 1. Chocolate Delight, 2. Silk in Silver, 3. Midnight Lady. LONG SHOT: Acute.
CHOCOLATE DELIGHT (4-1), a 6-year-old mare, was favored last time at a level higher and failed to deliver. Trainer Robertino Diodoro does well with lower-level horses and jockey Tyler Baze, who is 29% with Diodoro, keeps the mount.
SECOND RACE: 1. One Lucky Dane, 2. Commute, 3. Harmonic. LONG SHOT: Papa Kade.
THIRD RACE: 1. Long Hot Summer, 2. Majestic Presence, 3. Minks Aprise. LONG SHOT: Sea Mona.
FOURTH RACE: 1. Tiz All That, 2. Grandson At Last, 3. Cal McLish. LONG SHOT: Fabber.
FIFTH RACE: 1. Ezio, 2. Delta Ranger, 3. Wicked Heat. LONG SHOT: Snowday.
SIXTH RACE: 1. Smart Transition, 2. Air Pocket, 3. Whiskey Ticket. LONG SHOT: Ghost of Navigator.
SEVENTH RACE: 1. Susan B Good, 2. Tangelo, 3. Tale of Papa Nick. LONG SHOT: Flat Footed Mama.
EIGHTH RACE: 1. Blame It On Tekla (best bet), 2. Midnight City, 3. Joshie Hit a Homer. LONG SHOT: My Charlie Boy.
This gelding BLAME IT ON TEKLA (3-1) owns a maturity edge over the rest of the field as he is a 5-year-old while the others are 3-year-olds. He had a good second last time to cheaper and should be able to parlay that into a win, especially with a huge work last week for trainer Kristin Mulhall.
