SIXTH RACE: 1. Q’ Viva (best bet), 2. Jetbird, 3. Bunuska. LONG SHOT: Shared Image.

Q’ VIVA (9-2), a 3-year-old filly broke her maiden over the surface going longer, but jockey Rafael Bejarano stays aboard and he will know when to send her at the shorter distance here.

==

SEVENTH RACE: 1. Grachus the Hunter, 2. Christopher Street, 3. Brother Pete. LONG SHOT: Skip Tony.

==

EIGHTH RACE: 1. Armensky, 2. Salt Power, 3. Forest Romance. LONG SHOT: Hot Market.

This isn’t the toughest $20,000 maiden claimer in the world so why not go with a first-timer like ARMENSKY (8-1). This son of Vronsky has been training OK for the level and trainer Richard Baltas gets the red-hot Kent Desormeaux to ride.
