Trainer Craig Dollase is 41% with first-time starters and 2-of-3 with first-time maiden-claiming starters. SHEZ A MASTERPIECE (3-1), a daughter of Mast Track, had a good work at the end of June to show she should be ready to go for jockey Corey Naktanti.

TE RAPA (5-1), a 6-year-old gelding, has four wins at Del Mar over the grass, granted this is a new course, but if he gets a hot pace up front, he will come running down the lane. Hall of Fame jockey Mike Smith stays aboard for trainer Howard Zucker.
