Races off the turf. Saturday’s lone race is off the turf too. The question for Santa Anita management is why were these scheduled? The 10-day forecast said there was a major storm coming this week. Like I said before welcome to Los Alamitos (aka no turf racing).
However, bad news, Los Alamitos cancelled racing this weekend. Hope dirt track is OK.

Depending on the weather, this name, CLOUDS CLEARING, could prove appros or the opposite as rai is suppose to hit this week. There looks to be a ton of speed in this race and this gelding has no speed whatsoever. His only win came from way off the pace and that’s the way new rider Martin Garcia needs to ride him for trainer Dean Pederson.

FIFTH RACE: 1. Giannonatti, 2. Smil’n From Above, 3. j Louie. LONG SHOT: Senjen.
SIXTH RACE: 1. Belle of the Fleet, 2. Midnight Dream, 3. D’ya Knowwhatimean. LONG SHOT: Find Your Spot.
